Rebirth/Redemption

Yeah, so welcome to the Basement Jaxx Source, er, blog!
Some might recognize the name from my former site that used to house Jaxx news and a nice little discography. It got shut down a while ago, but I've decided to resurrect it in a new form. I'll be spotlighting Jaxx material here - some you're familiar with, some you've never heard. If there's hope for this endeavor, it's that there is no shortage of music out there from the duo, so let's dive right in with this rarity:

Redemption

OK, so this number was posted by the Jaxx on their Myspace page and was enabled for download. So I downloaded it! It's a cool, slow-burner from the pre-Remedy days featuring Slarta John in a preacherman role over what seems to be an early version of the bassline from Fly Life Xtra. Enjoy!

p.s. - thanks to Lucas/Da Fluke for the title picture up above, made many years ago.
